A new PhD in the group!

We would like to congratulate Miki Bonacci for the conclusion of his PhD project with the thesis Automated accurate description of response functions in low-dimensional materials by Many-Body Perturbation Theory.

Part of his PhD project focused on the screening of possible excitonic insulator materials through the use of high-troughput methods. This screening narrows down the number of possible candidates to be investigated as possible excitonic insulators, both experimentally and theoretically.

Miki carried out his PhD project within Physics and Nano Sciences school at UNIMORE, and as a member of our research group.
