About Modena
Located along the old Roman road via Emilia, Modena sits in the center of Emilia-Romagna region in the Po valley. Modena is the birthplace of Luciano Pavarotti and Mirella Freni, two world renowned opera singers. It is famous for its culinary traditions, like tortellini and balsamic vinegar, and its sport cars. Its most famous cultural landmark is the cathedral, dating from the XII century and widely considered a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture, and the Ghirlandina tower, both classified as Unesco World Heritage, and the magnificent monumental cemetery, whose new section was designed by Gianni Braghieri and Pritzker Prize winning architect Aldo Rossi.

The workshop will take place in San Geminiano complex, a renovated XV century cloister in the heart of the city (Via San Geminiano 3, Modena).
The workshop will be held in Aula Magna Giuseppe Dossetti (ground floor).
